Boating in February

 We have had the best winter ever so far this year. I think we have had about two days of cold weather with the rest being beautiful 60s or 70s. I absolutely love it!

I have also been dying to go out in the boat, and today, we made it happen.

It was perfectly calm in the harbor so we started by just cruising around.

As we came to Ft Sumter though, the boys asked to stop so we did.

I love love love that DuBose can read now. He read all the little plaques around the fort and loved finding his birthday everywhere - it's the day the Civil War started (here at Ft Sumter)

 We explored the fort - the ins and outs :)

 Don't know when he started posing ;)

 Ellie Lou had lots of fun too, mostly chasing her brothers all around!

This had the potential to be a cool picture. If only I had patient and willing subjects :)


DuBose gave us a tour through Shem Creek on our way home.




It was a pretty day, and I am so glad we spent some of it outside and on the boat!
