Ft. Sumter Field Trip

Today, Mills' third grade class went on a field trip to Ft. Sumter. We had amazing weather for our boat ride out there.

When we got to the fort, we were asked to help raise the flags. The kids were so excited to do this and were very respectful of the process.

We did a little scavenger hunt around the fort and then headed back across the harbor on the ferry. We had a picnic lunch and then headed back to school. This was such a fun day with Mills. I loved spending this time with him and seeing him with his friends. (Didn't know he was such the class clown!) What a fun day, Toast!
