Happy Birthday, Gina!

We spent the most amazing day at the beach with a bunch of friends today. Gina, who is Ellie's most favorite friend, was having her 6th birthday at Folly Beach. All of their friends were out there (at one point I counted 50 people!) and the weather was awesome. Perfect first beach day of the season!

The boys were happy to be included.

Ellie and Louise spent a lot of time in the water together which surprised me - it was cold out there!

Gina's mom, Gretchen, gave surf lessons to all of the kids who wanted to try it. Ellie popped up and rode that wave all the way in. She was so proud of herself!! She did great!

This really was the best day. We spent it with great friends, in a great spot, celebrating a great girl! I'm looking forward to many beach days to come!!
