The Smiths at Millwood

Caroline and the boys came to spend Friday night with us. The kids played outside all day while she and I read and visited. 

Of course, Hattie and Birdie had a grand time together as well.

DuBose took Pinckney hunting Friday afternoon. They did not get anything, but DuBose did shoot a deer earlier that morning.

DuBose burned Kid Island.

The kids played hard and had fun together! It's been forever since they've been able to come out to the farm so it was nice to have them there for the night.

And I had her take our last picture of 2016. And this is what we look like after a week at the farm. Rough :) Everyone needs a haircut and a good scrub! Signs of a great week though!
