Merry Christmas!!

We started our Christmas morning around 7 am with these cuties on the steps for our annual pajama picture.

I love this - if you look closely, Ellie is rolling her eyes at her brothers' antics. I have a feeling this will be one of the stories of her life. Ha! 

And then pure joy as we opened presents together.

Ellie was thrilled with her new comforter, sheets, roller blades and newBarbie toys.

Mills was happy to find an assortment of weaponry under the tree - knives, throwing knives, axe throwing game. He also got a cool Rubix Cube that connects to his phone with times, strategies, and moves. His best solving time today was 57 seconds.

DuBose opened several funny t-shirts, lots of restaurant gift cards (now that he's driving himself and meeting friends, his bank account has taken a hit with all of their eating out!), model planes and ships and a Lego Mustang.

A favorite stocking stuffer.

It was a great morning and everyone was extremely happy with their treats under the tree! 

We got dressed and headed to my parents' for breakfast and to exchange gifts with them and and my sister and her family.

After opening lots of awesome surprises, we got things ready for lunch and once Nana and Granddad came over and we visited for a while, we ate again! 

There was also lots of playing outside with new toys!

Scotty was being very cooperative during their nerf gun war and I snagged a bunch of cute pictures.

Ellie got rollerblades and she had fun going up and down the street trying them out. By the end of the afternoon, she definitely had the hang of them.
