Ears Pierced!!

For her birthday, Ellie was able to get her ears pierced and it was made even better by being able to go with her BFF, Caroline.  We went to Claire's in Towne  Center and the girls were so excited, and a little nervous!

They both picked out their earring, Erin and I filled out the forms and we got started. Caroline went first and thought it didn't hurt at all. 

Ellie's turn. She did not find it a pain free experience and was quite disturbed when her right earring back did not come out of the gun. She thought she was going to have to have it re-pierced, but I was able to stick it on there with no problems so we were good to go. Although, she was in quite a bit of discomfort for a while afterward and couldn't believe that Caroline didn't feel anything! 

By the time we dropped Caroline and Erin off, Ellie was much better and quite happy to have this milestone behind her.
